Janice Lucon Wins NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Janice Lucon Wins NSF Graduate Research Fellowship
Janice Lucon, a graduate student of Prof. Trevor Douglas, has been
selected to receive a 2009 National Science Foundation (NSF)
Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF) award. This award is based on her abilities and accomplishments as well as her potential to
contribute to strengthening the vitality of the U.S. science and engineering enterprise. She will receive an annual stipend from NSF for three years.

Janice did her undergraduate work at Montana Tech of the University of Montana (Butte) and entered the graduate program at Montana State University in fall 2007 as a Molecular BioScience Fellow She began working with Trevor Douglas in 2008.
