Berk Knighton receives NASA Group Achievement Award
At the Langley Research Center 2007 Honor Awards Ceremony on July 13, 2007
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration presented their Group Achievement Award to the Aircraft Particle Emissions eXperiment Team. The award was “for seminal scientific contributions that have significantly advanced the fundamental knowledge of particulate and gaseous emissions from aircraft engines”. One of the members of this team is Dr. Berk Knighton. The award was accepted by Bruce Anderson of the NASA Langley Research Center. Dr. Anderson received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from MSU in 1983, working with Pat Callis.
