Prof. Joan Broderick receives the 2006-2007 Charles and Nora L.Wiley Award
Professor Joan B. Broderick received the 2006-2007 Charles and Nora Wiley Award for Meritorious Research from Montana State University.
Professor Broderick's award recognizes her internationally recognized work in the field of metallobiochemistry. She is especially noted for her unique contributions to in the area of structure/function studies of metalloenzymes that feature free-radicals as mechanistic intermediaries. Joan graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University in 1987 and received her Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 1992. Most recently she was a full professor at Michigan State University.
