Travis Harris wins the Undergraduate Presentation Award at the 2007 Montana ACS Spring Meeting in Miniature
Mr. Travis Harris, an incoming freshman of the 2007 graduate class has won
a presentation award at the Spring 2007 meeting of the Montana Section of
the American Chemical Society with his presentation "X-ray Absorption and Density Functional Study of the Anti-Cancer Drug NAMI-A and Related Compounds".
He started this work during his undergraduate studies at Willamette
University, Salem, OR under the supervision of Dr. Karen Holmann and
completed it during his REU stay at our Department with Dr. Robert K.
Szilagyi. He will be joining the Molecular Biosciences Program at MSU this Fall.
The award is a cash award that may be used to attend the national conference of his choice.
